The Digital Content Exchange™ is a highly efficient and cost effective, hosted fulfillment service for large high-volume catalogues. Built on the Open Media Gateway™ the service is available either via an Entertainment Centre™ storefront platform, or directly through API’s on your own site.

For a retailer to utilise the service, it is as simple as agreeing a contract with one of Blueprint’s partner rights holders, then integrating your user experience into Blueprint’s API’s, or if you prefer, allow Blueprint to build and host a branded store on your behalf, via our Entertainment Centre™ platform.

For a rights holder, all you need to do is "ingest" your content into the Open Media Gateway™, either using the self-service web portal, directly integrating your systems with our API’s, or if necessary, by utilising our fully-managed content ingestion services. Once the content is ingested, all you need to do is cut deals with retail licensees, tell Blueprint the terms of that deal, then point them our way for integration to the Open Media Gateway™.

The Indie Content Exchange™ builds on Blueprint's groundbreaking work with Windows Live Spaces, and will allow anyone to run their own legitimate digital media store. The Indie Content Exchange™ is currently in its final construction phase, with a release date planned before the end of the year.
