Richard Bron, Chief Executive Officer
Richard has a lifetime's experience in the music industry, having been directly involved in virtually all aspects of the business. After leaving school he joined the family music business and became President of Bronze Records Inc, a multi-million dollar record company joint venture between Bronze Records and Island Records. Having learned the lessons of the business working with major artists (such as Uriah Heep and Metallica), he moved on to the touring side of the business as a director of one of the major US concert promoters, where he had responsibility for over 1,000 major concerts annually. On return to the UK after over a decade in the US, Richard broke with family tradition and established a software company in 1994, developing bespoke software systems for blue chip organizations including Cable and Wireless and GlaxoSmithKline. Combining these two decades of experience across the technology and music industries Richard embarked on an ambitious research and development project to develop a new digital supply chain platform for the content industries. In addition to his work with the Open Media Gateway, Richard is the CEO of Blueprint Digital, the digital media consulting company that works to create digital media strategies for customers around the globe.
